Your device is fully supported by emCORE, but there are some bugs left, so it's not yet recommended for end users. If you would like to dualboot Rockbox and Apple's firmware, it would be safer to use Rockbox's bootloader or iLoader.

If you would like to install emCORE on your iPod Nano 2G, you can follow the iLoader install instructions, but substituting iLoader's .ipodx file with installer-ipodnano2g.ipodx from the Releases page.

If you don't want to see the bootmenu every time you power on your iPod, you can use Tools->Settings to set a default boot option (Rockbox, OF, UMSboot, Disk mode, etc.)
